WINTER TOUR: KOLSAY LAKE, CHARYN CANYON, BLACK CANYON

Visit the three most beautiful and unusual places in the Almaty region! Along the way, you will see all the diversity of Kazakhstan's winter nature: from high mountains with cold lakes, forests to endless steppes and canyons.
The length of the route is 600 км.
Travel program:
Day 1.
- 06:00 - departure from Almaty, from the address you specified, towards Kolsai-1 lake (290 km). Travel time - 3.5 hours.
- 1 hour walk.
- 12:00 - transfer to the Black Canyon, travel time 1 hour 40 minutes. The Black Canyon offers a beautiful panoramic view. Stay in the Canyon for 20-30 min.
- 14:00 - departure to the Charyn canyon, travel time 30 min. Walk along the Charyn canyon 2-3 hours. You can walk the entire canyon along the bottom and / or reach a place where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Valley of Castles. After - return to Almaty (200 km, about 3 hours).
We recommend to take with you: documents, comfortable hiking shoes, warm clothes. Food is also worth taking with you.
