NATIONAL PARK "ALTYN-EMEL"

"Altyn-Emel" is a national natural park located in the valley of the Ili River in Kazakhstan. The park was founded on April 10, 1996 in order to preserve a unique natural complex, archaeological and historical-cultural monuments, rare and endangered species of plants and animals. On the territory of the park with a total area of 520 thousand hectares, one can find various landscapes: mountainous, sandy, desert, gravelly, desert.
Having ordered this tour, you will visit: Singing Dune, Aktau (White Mountains), Katutau (Lava Mountains), Red Mountains, 700-year-old willow.
The length of the route is 770 km (40% of the steppe road route).
Travel Program:
Day 1.
- 07:00 - departure from Almaty towards the village of Basshi (250 km from Almaty) for accommodation in the guest house and lunch.
- 19:00 - arrival at the guest house.
- 19:30 - dinner, overnight.
Day 2.
- 08:00 - Breakfast.
- 2 hours walk.
- 13:00 - lunch in the village of Basshi. After lunch, return to the city of Almaty.
- 18:00 - arrival in the city of Almaty.
We recommend to take with you: documents, comfortable hiking shoes, a jacket to protect from rain and wind, a hat, sunglasses, sunblock. When choosing clothes, you should rely on the travel season, you can also contact us and ask all your questions.
